INMETRO Accreditation

One of the most recent achievements of our lab was the operationalization of processes according to ISO/IEC 17025: 2005, accredited by the General Coordination of Accreditation – CGCRE of the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology – INMETRO, under the number CRL 0844.

Proficiency Tests

The participation of the labs in activities of proficiency testing is one of the results quality control mechanisms because it allows, through different labs comparisons:

  • compare your lab’s performance to other similar labs;
  • obtain data that serve as subsidy for preventive action care in order to improve procedures;
  • obtain information about performance features of analytical methods.

With that in mind, we brought to Brazil CIPEA (Analytical Studies Inter Professional Committee), a proficiency tests program organized by Granotec Argentina in partnership with Granolab | Granotec do Brasil, which counts on over 100 labs participation in 11 different countries, performing the main flour tests, such as: Humidity, Ashes, Gluten, Protein, Falling Number, and Alveograph with bi-monthly or quarterly frequency.
